Mission Statement
The stated mission of the South African Association of Consulting Professional Planners South is to facilitate and promote the interests of consulting registered professional, technical and candidate planners, in the Western, Eastern and Northern Cape Provinces of South Africa, in terms of the Planning Professions Act, 2002 (Act 36 of 2002). The Association promotes values of transparency, engagement, advocacy and transformation. The Association acts as a body to disseminate information, facilitate continued professional development and represent consulting planners in conversations about public processes, and legislation, with relevant authorities at the National, Provincial and Local levels.”
